Thanks for visiting Connecticut River Lumber Company’s website.
We are a locally owned, family run specialty lumber company located in Southeast Connecticut at the mouth of the Connecticut River in Old Saybrook. We are conveniently located at Exit 66 off Interstate 95 and easily accessible from RT 9. Our primary focus is re-claimed lumber and beams, native lumber and beams, kiln dried hardwoods, live edge lumber, re-claimed flooring, custom flooring and specialty plywood.
Our motto is simple-“You provide the inspiration, we provide the lumber”
Whether you are looking for weathered grey barn board for a wall application, 2x8 native White Oak lumber for flower and garden beds, Pre-finished Maple plywood for a kitchen cabinet project or live edge slabs (boules) for a table- come visit our facility and see our variety of lumber products. There are no minimums, and we are open Monday through Saturdays.
We welcome both the consumer and the professional trades. Whether you are a cabinet maker, restoration builder, contractor, boat builder or have a home workshop, it is our pleasure to serve you in all of your specialty wood product needs.
Are you a consumer, architect or interior designer that has a project in mind, but needs to have a fabricator bring your idea to reality? No worries, we have several trade customers who specialize in restoration, cabinetry and furniture, finish carpentry and installation. We would be happy to pass along those referrals.
TAKE A LOOK
- Seasoned and green firewood orders are now being taken. The winter of 2015/2016 will be an active one for firewood orders. Again, as was the case last year, supplies will remain challenging as most low grade logs are being consumed by mills for higher value products. So don’t get caught short this season.
- Check out our New Arrival’s tab on our website. We just brought in more 2” thick reclaimed floor joists from turn of the century houses out of Scarsdale. Beautiful texture, most likely Spruce. Many in long lengths from 8-12” wide. Makes for great tables, shelves and bar tops.
- We have ongoing new shipments of reclaimed barn board always moving through our facility in weathered gray, brown, faded red and faded white.
